I just wanted to clarify one thing and give a little feedback based on my short time in the field with the Wicked Ridge RDX 400 for my first weekend hunting with it. The Wicked Ridge RDX 400 overall handles really well, rests nice in your hands and is perfectly balanced. This makes the RDX 400 a really quiet crossbow. The RDX 400 features an integrated String Stop System that fits into the end of the barrel to reduce noise and vibration. Once again, the scope can use an upgrade, but hitting your target at 50 yards in tiny groupings isn’t hard. The accuracy the RDX 400 has to offer is also really good. The T4 trigger on the RDX 400 breaks at about 3 lbs. The Wicked Ridge RDX 400 unfortunately doesn’t have a trigger like the TenPoint Vapor RS470. but using the ACUdraw crank device will make sure that you can shoot the RDX 400 all day. With the rope sled cocking device, the draw weight is still only about 9 lbs. Not every RDX 400 comes with the ACUdraw crank though, it’s possible that if you order your RDX 400 outside of Amazon that you’ll be getting a rope sled to cock the crossbow. The ACUdraw crank cocking device reduces the draw weight to only 5 lbs.! If you use the ACUdraw crank, cocking the crossbow is almost dead-silent. One if its unique features is the ACUdraw crank cocking device. CockingĬocking the Wicked Ridge RDX 400 is really easy. It only took less than 15 minutes to assemble and assembling this crossbow is much easier than a different TenPoint or Wicked Ridge crossbow model.

The RDX 400 isn’t exactly an easy to install crossbow like the Excalibur Assassin 400 TD, so more than a couple minutes is needed to assemble the crossbow. The Wicked Ridge RDX 400 is quite easy to assemble, though it’s not the easiest crossbow to assemble. Make sure it’s correctly sighted in and you should be able to hit your targets at 50-yards quite easily during darker periods as well. The Pro-view scope has illumination and comes pre-sighted at 25 yards. It does the job well and you should be able to hit your target at 50-yards quite easily. The TenPoint 3x Multi-Line scope is pre-sighted at 20 yards and has 3 crosshairs with a partial fourth line. I can always switch the scope with one that I currently have mounted on one of my other crossbows. I opted for the Wicked Ridge RDX 400 with the TenPoint 3x Multi-Line scope.
